JOB POSTING
HubSpot Consultant
Read This Before You Apply
At Denamico, the work is complex by the nature of the clients we serve. We’re a HubSpot consultancy that operates at the upmarket end of the ecosystem – franchise businesses with 50+ locations, layered tech stacks, and revenue operations challenges that require real depth to solve. We don’t do simple setups.
We’re looking for people who want to build something, not just bill hours. Our team learns by doing, improves by iterating, and takes ownership of outcomes – not just tasks. If you’re someone who finds genuine satisfaction in configuring a system that people actually love using, and can’t help but ask “how could this work better,” keep reading.
What you give up in predictability at a company like Denamico, you gain back in learning, exposure, and the satisfaction of doing work that matters. The right person here will grow faster in 18 months than most people do in 5 years elsewhere.
Why This Work Matters
We work with service-based franchise businesses with 50+ locations. These companies are part of the entrepreneurial backbone of the American economy – the businesses that create the majority of new jobs and drive growth in communities across the country.
For these businesses, scaling is everything. We build their revenue operations systems with HubSpot as the engine: data architecture, CRM strategy, integrations, and multi-phase implementations that fundamentally change how they grow. When we get it right, franchise operators open more locations, hire more people, build stronger businesses, and deepen their impact in their communities. You feel that in this work every day.
HubSpot only creates value when people actually use it. This role is what makes that happen.
About the Role
We’re hiring a HubSpot Consultant to configure, optimize, and bring HubSpot portals to life for our franchise vertical clients. This is the role that turns strategy into reality inside the platform – making HubSpot practical, intuitive, and genuinely useful for the teams who use it every day.
This is not a solo role. You’ll work inside a delivery pod alongside a Solutions Architect and an Implementation Manager. The Solutions Architect owns the technical architecture and solution design. The Implementation Manager owns project management and client communication. You own the platform – the workflows, the properties, the pipelines, the automations – built to best practice standards, documented clearly, and designed to scale.
When you do this work well, it becomes invisible in the best possible way. It just works. Clients trust the system, teams adopt it, and the business grows into it rather than around it.
Your days will look like this: Monday morning, you’re in a pod check-in reviewing the week’s build priorities with your Implementation Manager and Solutions Architect. Tuesday, you’re configuring a custom pipeline for a franchise brand’s development team, making sure the stage logic actually reflects how they sell. Wednesday, you’re troubleshooting an automation that isn’t firing correctly and documenting the fix so it doesn’t happen again. Thursday, you’re in a client training session walking a marketing team through the workflows you built for their lead nurture program. Friday, you’re doing a self-QA pass on the week’s work before it goes to review – because you care whether it’s right, not just whether it’s done.
Who You'll Work With
You’ll work alongside a talented team of collaborative, growth-minded HubSpot experts who take real pride in the quality of what they build. Your pod – a Solutions Architect and an Implementation Manager – will be your closest collaborators on every engagement, and the three of you will move faster and deliver better work together than any of you could alone.
You’ll also work directly with client teams across marketing, sales, and service – which means you need to be as comfortable explaining a workflow to a sales manager as you are building it. And because our clients are sophisticated operators, the work here is genuinely interesting.
We’re a technology-forward company working at the intersection of CRM strategy and business growth. If you want to be at the forefront of where the industry is going, this is a team that will challenge and inspire you.
What You’ll Own
- Portal configuration You configure HubSpot workflows, properties, pipelines, automations, and objects to meet client requirements. Every build decision reflects best practices, usability, and long-term maintainability – not just “what was asked for.”
- Documentation You document what you build: portal configurations, workflow logic, properties, and procedures. Clear documentation supports training, troubleshooting, and the clients who need to own their system after you’re done.
- User adoption You keep the end user in mind throughout every build decision. HubSpot only creates value when people use it – and how it’s configured directly impacts whether they do.
- Continuous improvement You proactively identify opportunities to enhance how clients use HubSpot and bring those recommendations to your pod. You look ahead, not just at the task in front of you.
The Metrics That Matter
- Clients actively use HubSpot because it makes their work easier, not harder
- Internal teams can understand and support client portals thanks to clear documentation
- HubSpot setups scale with the client’s business instead of breaking under growth
- Personal utilization rate of 80%+
How You Work
- You build for the person who has to use it, not just for the person who requested it. Usability and adoption aren’t afterthoughts – they’re part of how you define “done.”
- You work well inside a pod without losing your sense of ownership. The Implementation Manager tracks the project; you own the quality of what gets built.
- You document as you go, not as an afterthought. A configuration that isn’t documented is a configuration no one else can trust.
- You communicate proactively when something isn’t working – a requirement that doesn’t translate well into the platform, a timeline that’s at risk, an edge case that needs a decision. You don’t wait until it’s a problem.
- You’re curious about HubSpot and the ecosystem around it. You stay current because you’re genuinely interested, not because someone told you to.
- You take feedback well and give it directly. The best work comes from teams that trust each other enough to be honest.
Experience You Bring
Required
- Strong hands-on experience configuring HubSpot across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Service Hub
- Solid understanding of how CRM systems support business processes – you can connect a configuration decision to a business outcome
- Ability to translate abstract requirements into practical, well-structured portal builds
- High attention to detail and a strong instinct for user experience
- Clear written communication skills, especially for documentation and internal handoffs
- Comfortable managing multiple client projects and priorities at the same time
Nice to have
- Agency or consulting experience – you’ve worked across multiple clients and know how to context-switch
- Familiarity with HubSpot’s more advanced features: custom objects, calculated properties, datasets, or Data Hub workflows
- Experience working with franchise businesses or multi-location operators
- Exposure to adjacent tools in the MarTech or RevOps stack
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days
- You’ve contributed to at least one active client project and understand how Denamico’s phased delivery model works in practice
- Your pod trusts your configurations and your documentation
- You can navigate a client’s portal, understand what was built and why, and make improvements without breaking what’s already working
By Month Six
- You’re executing independently on client projects with minimal oversight
- Clients are actively using what you’ve built and expressing confidence in the platform
- Your work is scaling with the client’s business the way it was designed to
By Year One
- Your configurations don’t require rework
- You’re proactively surfacing improvement opportunities that your pod and clients act on
- You’re seen as a trusted resource by both your pod and your clients – the person they come to when something needs to be figured out
Who Thrives Here
We’re a team of builders with high standards and a genuine belief that “done” is just the beginning. We move fast, we iterate deliberately, and we hold ourselves accountable to outcomes – not effort. If you need every requirement spelled out before you can move, this probably isn’t the right fit.
But if you find satisfaction in building things that work beautifully, care deeply about the people who use what you build, and are energized by being part of a team that’s genuinely good at what it does, you’ll feel at home here.
Our core values aren’t wall art – they’re how we make decisions: Lead the Change. Learn with Purpose. Make Things Happen. Be Better Together.
Core Values
As a member of the Denamico team, you will be expected to honor our core values:
Lead the Change. We bring innovative solutions to the table. We believe in the importance of having difficult conversations. We believe in staying ahead of change, taking educated risks, and paving the way for new roads to the future.
Learn With Purpose. We listen to and learn from others. We believe in being self-directed and proactively learning to solve challenges as they evolve. We believe in a growth mindset for ourselves and each other.
Make Things Happen. We take the initiative to move forward as change occurs. We’re willing to have hard conversations. That’s who we are. And there is a way to push the envelope while maintaining respect, humility, and transparency.
Be Better Together. We value and benefit from diversity, vulnerability, and everyone’s unique ability and perspective. We believe business is a team activity and that we do better work, are more innovative, and the journey is more meaningful when we’re on it together.
The Deal
The trade we’re offering is real: less predictability, more growth. Less routine, more learning. Less comfort, more capability.
For the right person, there’s also something bigger here than client delivery. We’re investing in our own capabilities as a company – building expertise, developing new ways to serve this industry, and thinking beyond the engagement model. If you’re someone who wants to feel your impact not just in the work you deliver for clients, but in the direction of the business itself, that opportunity is real here. We’re at a stage where the people who show up with that mindset have a genuine say in where we go.
We’re building deep expertise in revenue operations for franchise businesses – a vertical with real complexity and real scale – and we’re doing it as a technology-forward team that takes professional development seriously. Everyone here is actively working on how they get better. That’s not a perk; it’s just how we operate.
Compensation is $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and full benefits. Twin Cities hybrid team members receive company-paid parking or transit. We offer PTO, and paid holidays. The North Loop office is available for hybrid team members in the Twin Cities, and the remote role is open to US-based only candidates working CST hours.
