HubSpot Consultant

The mission of the HubSpot Consultant is to drive client success by configuring, customizing, and continuously improving HubSpot portals in ways that directly support business objectives and encourage strong, sustained user adoption. This role turns strategy into reality inside the platform, making HubSpot practical, intuitive, and valuable for every user.

How This Role Creates Impact

The HubSpot Consultant sits at the intersection of strategy, implementation, and user experience. You partner closely with Implementation Managers and Technical Consultants to translate client requirements into thoughtful portal configurations. Every workflow, property, and automation you build has a clear purpose: helping teams work better, trust the system, and actually use it.

You don’t just complete tasks. You look ahead, spot opportunities for improvement, and raise the bar on how clients use HubSpot over time.

Key Outcomes and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Implementation Managers and Technical Consultants to understand client goals, requirements, and constraints, then configure HubSpot portals to meet those needs.
  • Execute tasks outlined in client project plans with attention to best practices, usability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Design and configure workflows, properties, pipelines, automation, and objects in ways that improve clarity, efficiency, and user confidence.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance how clients use HubSpot and share recommendations with Implementation Managers and Technical Consultants.
  • Document client requirements, portal configurations, workflow logic, properties, and procedures to support training, troubleshooting, and business continuity.
  • Maintain a strong focus on user experience to positively influence user adoption across marketing, sales, and service teams.
  • Consistently achieve individual utilization greater than 80 percent while maintaining high-quality delivery.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring HubSpot across Marketing, Sales, and Service Hubs.
  • Solid understanding of technical implementations and how systems support business processes.
  • Ability to translate abstract requirements into practical, well-structured solutions.
  • High attention to detail paired with a strong sense of user experience.
  • Clear written communication skills, especially for documentation and internal handoffs.
  • Comfort managing multiple client projects and priorities at once.

Location

Hybrid (Minneapolis–St. Paul area) or Remote (CST hours)

Team members in the Twin Cities can work remotely or enjoy a hybrid work schedule option between their home and our Minneapolis North Loop office. We’re generally in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Schedule: Full-time | M–F | Flexible work environment
