JOB POSTING

Senior HubSpot Consultant

Before You Apply

Denamico is a HubSpot consultancy that operates at the upmarket end of the ecosystem: enterprise-scale CRM architectures, complex integrations, and multi-phase implementations for franchise businesses with 50+ locations. The problems our clients bring us don’t have simple answers, and the people who solve them here grow faster in 18 months than most do in 5 years elsewhere.

We’re building an AI-forward delivery team with an entrepreneurial mindset. That means we don’t just bill hours, we build reusable IP and use AI to accelerate how we design, prototype, and deliver outcomes for our customers and our team. If you want to shape how a modern consultancy operates, not just execute within one, keep reading.

Why This Work Matters

Our clients are the entrepreneurial backbone of the American economy: service-based businesses creating jobs and driving growth in communities across the country. We build the revenue operations systems that help them scale: the data architecture, CRM strategy, and integrations that fundamentally change how they grow. When we get it right, operators open more locations, hire more people, and build stronger businesses. You feel that in this work every day.

We've doubled down on this vertical intentionally. It's relationship-driven and entrepreneurial, the community is tight-knit, and our focus means our team builds deep expertise that makes every client engagement better than the last.

About the Role

You turn strategy into reality inside the platform by making HubSpot practical, intuitive, and genuinely useful for the teams who depend on it every day.

You work inside a delivery pod alongside a Solutions Architect and an Implementation Manager. The Architect owns technical design. The IM owns project management and client communication. You own the platform; built to best practice standards and designed so clients grow into it rather than around it. When you do this work well, it becomes invisible in the best possible way. It just works.

Monday morning, pod check-in reviewing the week’s build priorities. Tuesday, configuring a custom pipeline for a client’s development team, making sure stage logic reflects how they actually sell. Wednesday, troubleshooting an automation that isn’t firing correctly and documenting the fix so it doesn’t recur. Thursday, training a marketing team through the workflows you built for their lead nurture program. Friday, self-QA pass before review, because you care whether it’s right, not just whether it’s done.

What You’ll Own

This role is defined by the outcomes you're accountable for, not the tasks you execute. Four areas of ownership:

  • Portal configuration. Configure HubSpot workflows, properties, pipelines, automations, and objects to meet client requirements. Every build decision reflects usability and long-term maintainability, not just “what was asked for.”
  • Documentation. Document portal configurations, workflow logic, and procedures so that training, troubleshooting, and eventual client self-service are all supported from day one.
  • User adoption. Keep the end user in mind throughout every build. How a portal is configured directly impacts whether teams adopt it, and adoption is the measure that matters.
  • Continuous improvement. Proactively identify opportunities to improve how clients use the platform and bring those recommendations to your pod.

The Metrics That Matter

  • Clients actively use HubSpot because it makes their work easier.
  • Internal teams can understand and support portals through clear documentation.
  • Configurations hold up as clients grow, without breaking or requiring rebuilds.
  • Personal utilization rate of 80%+

How You Work

  • You think in outcomes, not tasks. You measure success by whether clients actually adopt and trust the system.
You build for the person who has to use it, not just the person who requested it.
  • You act without being prompted. You notice an inefficiency, you flag it. You see a better way to build something, you surface it.
  • You document as you go, not as an afterthought.
  • You communicate proactively when something isn’t working: a requirement that doesn’t translate, a timeline at risk, an edge case that needs a decision.
  • You use AI to accelerate your work, configuration, documentation, training content. You stay curious about the ecosystem because you’re genuinely interested.

Experience You Bring

Required

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring HubSpot across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Service Hub.
  • Solid understanding of how CRM systems support business processes: you can connect a configuration decision to a business outcome.
  • Ability to translate abstract requirements into practical, well-structured portal builds.
  • High attention to detail and a strong instinct for user experience.
  • Clear written communication skills, especially for documentation and internal handoffs.
  • Comfortable managing multiple client projects and priorities at the same time.

Nice to have

  • Agency or consulting experience across multiple clients.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot advanced features: custom objects, calculated properties, datasets, or Data Hub workflows.
  • Experience with franchise businesses or multi-location operators.
  • Exposure to adjacent MarTech or RevOps tool.

Moving Denamico Forward

This isn’t just a delivery role. Denamico’s pay-for-performance framework includes a variable bonus tied to three pillars: Delivery Excellence, Client Success, and Moving Denamico Forward. That third pillar compensates you for building IP, developing accelerators, supporting pre-sales, improving processes, mentoring teammates, and earning certifications, the work that compounds over time and makes the company better. It’s a compensation model uncommon in this industry, built for people who think like owners.

Who Thrives Here

We are an outcome-focused team of builders who value continuous iteration. You must be high-agency, proactive, and self-directed, comfortable filling gaps without a full playbook. Success is measured by your impact and results, requiring resilience and adaptability as things shift. If you need explicit direction for every decision, this isn't the right fit. If you're energized by technically complex problems and design systems to last, you'll feel at home.

The Deal

Compensation is $80,000–$120,000 depending on experience, plus variable bonus and full benefits. Twin Cities hybrid members receive company-paid parking or transit. PTO and paid holidays. North Loop office available for hybrid; remote open to US-based candidates working CST hours.

We’re at a stage where the people who show up with a builder’s mindset have a genuine say in where this company goes. Less predictability, more growth. Less routine, more learning. Less comfort, more capability.

Core Values

Our core values aren't wall art. They're how we make decisions.

Lead the Change. We bring innovative solutions to the table. We believe in the importance of having difficult conversations. We believe in staying ahead of change, taking educated risks, and paving the way for new roads to the future.

Learn With Purpose. We listen to and learn from others. We believe in being self-directed and proactively learning to solve challenges as they evolve. We believe in a growth mindset for ourselves and each other.

Make Things Happen. We take the initiative to move forward as change occurs. We’re willing to have hard conversations. That’s who we are. And there is a way to push the envelope while maintaining respect, humility, and transparency.

Be Better Together. We value and benefit from diversity, vulnerability, and everyone’s unique ability and perspective. We believe business is a team activity and that we do better work, are more innovative, and the journey is more meaningful when we’re on it together.

To Apply

In lieu of a cover letter, please respond to the following questions in the Cover Letter box and include a link to your LinkedIn profile.

  • Describe a HubSpot configuration you built that you're proud of. What made it good, and how did you know it was working?
  • Describe a time your role or a project changed significantly mid-stream. What did you do, and what was the outcome?
  • Describe a time you worked as part of a delivery team, not as the sole owner. How did you contribute, and how did the team dynamic affect the outcome?
  • What's the last thing you learned on your own, not for a job, but because you were curious?

We screen for proof, not personality. The best answer is a specific example with a real outcome.
