You’ve probably heard that the internet offers a great opportunity for businesses to generate less expensive leads and more sales. Maybe your competitors have started securing customers via their websites, blogs, and Facebook pages, while you continue paying for leads through more expensive options such as cold calls, tradeshows, direct mail, and print advertising.

If you’re experiencing any of these problems, you will benefit from an Inbound Marketing Blueprint - a strategic action plan we’ll customize to help your team reach your marketing and overall business goals.

Here’s how the Blueprint process works:
  1. We gather information about your business goals, key buyer persona, current marketing situation, website functionality, keyword research, competitive analysis, and existing assets. We may also interview some of your existing customers to get deeper insights for your buyer persona profile.
  2. We create a detailed description of your key buyer called a buyer persona profile.
  3. We layer your buyer persona’s behaviors, interests, and needs onto their buyers journey or “path to purchase” to develop a content strategy roadmap.
  4. We create and present a detailed “action plan” that will explain how to develop the necessary content, the required marketing automation framework infrastructure needed and the social media channels to utilize to reach your audience, in order to achieve your goals with this strategy.

What is required from you?

We ask that you attend four or five meetings to help us get to know you and your business, explain our process, and answer any questions you may have.

The Kickoff Meeting
We ask you to bring any team members who you plan to have working on inbound marketing related activities. We’ll give an inbound marketing overview, explain what the Blueprint is all about, ask for your participation, and set-up next steps. We’ll give you a checklist of any existing marketing research, data, assets, etc., and ask you to send them to us so we can have as much context as possible before building your strategy.

A goal setting & planning exercise may be done in conjunction with the kick-off meeting, or in addition to it.

The Buyer Persona Meeting
After we have a chance to review your action steps, we’ll likely have some questions you can answer to help us complete your buyer persona profile and map content to the buyer’s journey. This meeting is an opportunity to fill in any gaps we need to complete your Blueprint. 

The Blueprint Presentation
At this meeting, we’ll present our findings and explain our detailed plan to help you launch three inbound marketing campaigns in 90 days. We’ll hand off your action plan which will contain step-by-step instructions on how to get these campaigns up and running successfully.

Follow-up and Q&A 
We know you will probably have questions after you receive your Blueprint, and this follow-up meeting gives all of us a chance to regroup, revisit any refinements we may need to make, and make sure we're clear on next steps.

What does an Inbound Marketing Blueprint cost? How much time does it take?

The Inbound Marketing Blueprint takes 4-6 weeks to create, the cost starts at $15k and goes up depending on the complexity of your offering and how much market research we need to do to have a well-defined buyer persona and buyer journey map.

The Blueprint will generate results for your business if:

  • You’re committed to creating content as part of your marketing strategy to generate more qualified leads 
  • You have the buy-in for inbound marketing from your leadership team
  • You have 1-2 team members available to put our strategic plan into action, or to work with us to help implement it
  • You want to leverage the power of marketing automation software to generate and nurture leads into sales-qualified leads

The Blueprint isn’t likely the best fit for your business if you:

  • Aren’t able to commit the time to actively participate in four meetings and complete your action steps
  • Are only looking for immediate results - fast leads and sales - instead of a long-term strategy that builds compounding, ever-improving, results over time
  • Do not want to use marketing automation software for lead generation and lead nurturing
